As part of the Disability Harassment Inquiry we examined ten very serious cases in which disabled people have died or been seriously injured.

A number of organisations can provide support when people face harassment.
One of the inquiry report's final recommendations was for the Government to review hate crime legislation to find out whether there was more that could be done to legally protect disabled people experiencing disability related harassment. We are pleased to see that the Law Commission has been asked to undertake this review during 2013. Find out more here.
