We are in the process of drafting new guidance for service users about Housing. We will publish it here when it has been completed.
The guidance will explain how the Equality Act 2010 applies to you if you rent or buy somewhere to live in as your home.
The Equality Act gives protection from discrimination and the guide will explain how this might apply to housing situations.
The guidance will make clear where the Equality Act contains specific provisions for housing or makes exceptions to the law that may apply to housing situations.
