This short film shows how Mersey Care NHS Trust takes a human rights based approach to healthcare.

In 2009, we filmed Mersey Care NHS Trust as part of our Human Rights Inquiry. Two years later we went back to see how a human rights based approach to healthcare is working.

Lindsey Dyer, Director service users and carers:

We’ve moved on over the last two years from being an organisation that takes a human rights based approach to involving service users and carers to becoming a human rights organisation, whereby human rights runs throughout the culture of the whole organisation.
