Creating a fairer Britain
The exceptionally high standard of entries made it very challenging to decide on the winners. After much deliberation we are proud to announce that the following entries are the winners of Young Brits at Art 2010 (in alphabetical order):
Each winner received a luxurious wooden art chest brim-full of paints and art materials, commemorative certificates and a framed copy of their artwork. They will also each have the opportunity for a one-to-one discussion with a Senior Lecturer from the University of Arts, London, to discuss whether they want to take their art further in a higher education setting.
In addition, the Saatchi Gallery, one of the most celebrated art venues in the country, will be exhibiting the ten winning artworks for the whole of July.
Additional congratulations go to our three joint first prize winners.
In addition to the above, each first prize winner will get an even more packed wooden art chest and a selection of art books from the Saatchi Gallery.
