Sarah Redman aged 12 attends Streatham & Clapham High School. Her piece, The Beauty We Are. Her painting was inspired by seeing a news item about London Fashion Week and deciding to question the real nature of beauty. She comments, ‘every human is beautiful in their own right and human beings should begin to acknowledge the beauty of others no matter what their size, race, religion, disability or age might be. I believe that prejudice is very unjust and we are uncivilised to judge others on their appearance. Every human is different and I felt this should be shown on the catwalk.’
