The Equality and Human Rights Commission welcomes the opportunity to respond to the to the National Records of Scotland Consultation on ethnicity information at registration of death. The Commission welcome the proposal that the National Records Office commences the introduction of the ethnicity question on death certificates from the 1 January 2012.
