The Commission welcomed the opportunity to support the introduction of the Domestic Abuse (Scotland) Bill by the Justice Committee of the Scottish Government. Our response recognised the difficulties victims of domestic abuse can have both leaving and taking action against their abusers, and acknowledged that the measures in this Bill could go some way to addressing these issues.
