The Commission in Scotland with support from the Scottish Government has developed good practice guidance for employers and service providers on Sikh articles of faith in Scotland.
The guide sets out:
The aim of the guide is to provide an opportunity for employers and service providers to assess their policies in relation to articles of faith. It is hoped that it will stimulate further thinking around articles of faith in the workplace, and that it will provide a useful guide to help balance the needs of individuals and service users with those of employers and public services in Scotland.
