Setting a new agenda – using the evidence
Facts about Wales explored the findings of two landmark reports; How Fair is Wales? and Economic Inequality in Wales. Over the past generation we've seen huge steps in tackling discrimination and changing attitudes across Wales, yet our ambitions still exceed our achievements. The evidence set out in the reports will be vital in assisting all of us to assess whether policies are increasing or decreasing fairness.

The Wales Institute of Social and Economic Research, Data and Methods (WISERD) and the Equality and Human Rights Commission are delighted to invite you to the launch of a groundbreaking new report An Anatomy of Economic Inequality in Wales. This event will offer the opportunity to hear and discuss key findings from the report. It will be chaired by Professor Teresa Rees with presentations from Kate Bennett and authors of the report.

Building on from our research report equality issues in Wales this event will look at the evidence on inequality in employment. Through a combination of presentations and expert sessions we will ask what works to promote equality.
