The Commission recently identified the need to reduce the incidence of prejudice-based bullying in schools and workplaces in its first Triennial Review. The Commission has done further research to explore this issue and has invited panellists, including Nick Gibb MP, Minister for Schools, to take part in a launch event on 2 March.

The Commission has published new research about personalisation in the reform of social care and access to advocacy. Personalisation refers to services like direct payments, personal budgets and self-directed or funded support.

The Commission would like to invite you to take part in the public consultation on the Commission's draft Code of Practice for the new Equality Act for Schools in England and Wales. The consultation will close on 22 April 2011. We have also produced guidance on the new public sector equality duties under the Act.
