When a person or organisation is providing you with goods, facilities or services, the way they deliver their services to you matters. This is true whether you are dealing with a business, a public sector organisation, a voluntary or community sector organisation, or an association or club.

People and organisations providing services, including goods and facilities, (service providers) must make sure that they do what equality law says they must in relation to:

The building or other place where services are delivered

Advertisements and marketing

Written information

Websites and internet services

Telephone access and call centres
