Two new Commissioners have been appointed to the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), as announced by the Government Equalities Office today (Sunday 4 December).
Bringing a wealth of skills and experience, the new Commissioners are:
- Arif Ahmed MBE
- Kunle Olulode MBE
Baroness Kishwer Falkner, Chairwoman of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, said:
“We congratulate Arif and Kunle on their appointment and are delighted to welcome them to the EHRC.
“Their combined expertise and leadership across higher education, civil society and the public sector will bring great benefit to our work protecting equality and human rights across Britain.
“Alongside the experience and track record of existing Commissioners, I am confident that the EHRC now has one its most diverse ever Boards. I look forward to working with Arif and Kunle in continuing our important work.”
