This report sets out the findings of research into best practice for developing a new UK Bill of Rights. 

The research looked at:

  • evidence from related UK and international experiences
  • the rules and standards that should support the development of a Bill of Rights
  • what effect this might have on developing government policy, regardless of which political party is in power

Research was carried out by Global Partners and Associates and the Human Rights and Social Justice Research Institute at London Metropolitan University.
