
A study of work-life mobility and the returns from education
This report looks at patterns of work-life mobility for a number of groups:
- women
- ethnic minorities
- those with a disability
- older people
It looks at 3 different types of mobility:
- career mobility: particularly the chances of career progression with one employer
- work-life mobility: the chances of career progression with any employer
- intergenerational mobility: changes in social class between people who participated in the study and their parents
