Trade Union Bill, House of Lords, Committee Stage – Briefing on Clause 15

The Commission’s analysis suggests that Clause 15 of the Bill may not comply with the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).

We also note that the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Committee of Experts has asked the UK Government to review a number of the provisions in the Bill and to provide comments on the proposals to extend the powers of the Certification Officer.
